A multinational FMCG company is seeking to employ a Tracking Officer to work with.
What you will do:
- Operate the tracking system in order to monitor vehicles
- Ensure efficient vehicle utilization, maintenance and tracking
- Maintain contact with the relevant licensing authorities, the police and insurance companies on a range of issues relating to company cars
- Take relevant action in the event of incidents such as accidents or hijacking: Take statements in conjunction with TM (investigate)
- Liaise with regional representatives regarding implementation of tracking system
- Attend to the administration of the company’s car policy to ensure compliance
- Fuel card control: Administer fuel cards
- Accident and incident reporting
- Provide on-demand detailed reports of vehicles locations and times from the tracking system.
- Ensure tracking details installed on vehicles are in good working order and liaise with tracking installations engineers to rectify non-reporting devices.
- Gather tracking data to develop improvement plan for the system
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly tracking and performance reports
- Perform any other work related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time-to time by management
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree / HND with three years experience
- Good working knowledge of tracking system /applications
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Products
- Ability to treat information, data and records confidentially
