OVERVIEW
The ideal candidate should be able to manage the sales team of the company, set targets and formulate
strategies to achieve them. In addition, the ideal candidate should be passionate about Agriculture, be willing to speak to customers in-person, on phone or via WhatsApp, have the ability to use analytical tools to determine rush hour and be able to distribute workload.
The main objectives of the role: analytics, training and management of sales executives.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead and motivate Sales Team to meet and exceed sales targets
- Develop and execute a sales strategy that leverages the various agricultural seasons in Africa
- Be accountable for meeting company set sales targets
- Breakdown targets by product, region, sales team ensuring clarity and accountability
- Implement systems to monitor individual and team performance against set targets
- Provide weekly reports to Management capturing areas for improvement and opportunities for
growth - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales forecast with inventory planning
- Oversee the implementation and Optimization of CRM systems to enhance customer interactions
and streamline sales processes - Use CRM data to analyze customer behavior, identify opportunities
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers
- Talk to clients and potential clients on the phone
- Respond to inquiries via WhatsApp and email
- Set sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCES
- Minimum of Bachelors degree in Business Administration or relevant field
- Proven Experience as a Sales Manager with a focus on CRM and online sales
- Strong understanding of CRM system and their integration into sales process
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets
- Familiarity with online sales platforms
- Experience in Customer Support
- Experience in Team Management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good IT skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work under pressure and without supervision
- Ability to work during odd hours.
