OVERVIEW
Our client has matured into a successful and credible brand, with a wealth of experience in Corporate branding & Souvenirs, Printing, Events Gifts & Advertising, Stationery and office supplies and is looking to hire a Business Development Officer.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Servicing existing account and establishing new ones
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the company, including new clients, markets and
partnership - Develop proposals and pitches to present to potential clients
- Work closely with the creative team and supervisor to develop customized solutions for clients and to ensure
that projects are delivered on time and on budget - Provide support by analyzing existing and potential volumes of customers
- Submit activity report such as daily report, weekly work plan, and monthly work plan and territory analysis.
- Recommend changes to product and services based on your interactions with customers
- Maintain professional and product knowledge by reviewing product and manuals and engaging with technical
staff - Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations, including CEOs, Procurement Heads, Heads of Brands and Marketing, and other executives
- Maintain an official filling system for all official documents.
- Monthly filling of all statutory payments to Ghana Revenue Authorities
- Prepare invoices/ receipts, way bills and attain to all emails and social media handle queries
- Maintain up to date customer contact records
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Work cooperatively with all departments in a spirit of teamwork to address problem areas
- Safeguard the assets of the company and reveal no information to competitors or outside parties, which could be harmful to our business.
- Manage in the best interest of the company, those assets entrusted to you, these may include but are not limited to, vehicles, computers, phones, documents etc.
- Foster practices within the company that are consistent with our values and beliefs.
- Share knowledge with colleagues and actively work to raise the competence level of the group. Strive for unity, trust within the group, and expect to produce results before receiving rewards.
- Act on behalf of peer group members in their absence as and when called upon to do so either by design or by
circumstances
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCES
- Minimum of HND or Degree in Marketing or equivalent. Digital marketing preferred
- Minimum of 4 years in related field of employment
- Must have a friendly and engaging personality
- Should be of a smart appearance and articulate
- Having skills in digital marketing is an advantage
- You should have a comprehensive understanding of your area of sales i.e. retail, Fast Moving Consumer Goods,
- Able to work as part of a sales team.
