Business Development Officer in Accra

OVERVIEW

Our client has matured into a successful and credible brand, with a wealth of experience in Corporate branding & Souvenirs, Printing, Events Gifts & Advertising, Stationery and office supplies and is looking to hire a Business Development Officer.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  1. Servicing existing account and establishing new ones
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the company, including new clients, markets and
    partnership
  3. Develop proposals and pitches to present to potential clients
  4. Work closely with the creative team and supervisor to develop customized solutions for clients and to ensure
    that projects are delivered on time and on budget
  5. Provide support by analyzing existing and potential volumes of customers
  6. Submit activity report such as daily report, weekly work plan, and monthly work plan and territory analysis.
  7. Recommend changes to product and services based on your interactions with customers
  8. Maintain professional and product knowledge by reviewing product and manuals and engaging with technical
    staff
  9. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations, including CEOs, Procurement Heads, Heads of Brands and Marketing, and other executives
  10. Maintain an official filling system for all official documents.
  11. Monthly filling of all statutory payments to Ghana Revenue Authorities
  12. Prepare invoices/ receipts, way bills and attain to all emails and social media handle queries
  13. Maintain up to date customer contact records
  14. Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  15. Work cooperatively with all departments in a spirit of teamwork to address problem areas
  16. Safeguard the assets of the company and reveal no information to competitors or outside parties, which could be harmful to our business.
  17. Manage in the best interest of the company, those assets entrusted to you, these may include but are not limited to, vehicles, computers, phones, documents etc.
  18. Foster practices within the company that are consistent with our values and beliefs.
  19. Share knowledge with colleagues and actively work to raise the competence level of the group. Strive for unity, trust within the group, and expect to produce results before receiving rewards.
  20. Act on behalf of peer group members in their absence as and when called upon to do so either by design or by
    circumstances

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCES

  • Minimum of HND or Degree in Marketing or equivalent. Digital marketing preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years in related field of employment
  • Must have a friendly and engaging personality
  • Should be of a smart appearance and articulate
  • Having skills in digital marketing is an advantage
  • You should have a comprehensive understanding of your area of sales i.e. retail, Fast Moving Consumer Goods,
  • Able to work as part of a sales team.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

  • Salary: GHC2,000-GHC2,500
