Job Description
A reputable heavy equipment company is seeking experienced Crane Operators for deployment to mining and project sites in Ghana.
The successful candidates will operate heavy-duty cranes with capacities of 130 tons and above and support safe lifting operations in accordance with site and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate 130-ton and above cranes safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections and report faults or defects.
- Follow approved lifting procedures, load limits and site safety requirements.
- Work closely with riggers and site supervisors during lifting operations.
- Maintain accurate equipment and operational records where required.
Requirements
- Valid Minerals Commission (MINCOM) Certificate/Licence of Competency is mandatory.
- Proven experience operating cranes of 130-ton capacity or higher.
- Previous mining, construction or heavy industrial project experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of crane safety, lifting procedures and equipment inspection.
- Must be medically fit and available for deployment by the end of October 2026.
- Willingness to work at project locations including Tarkwa, New Abirem and Akyem.
Only candidates with a valid MINCOM licence and relevant heavy-crane experience will be considered.
