Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Chef with strong skills in preparing both local and continental dishes. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing quality meals, maintaining high hygiene standards and ensuring efficient use of kitchen ingredients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of local and continental dishes.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portion size and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Monitor and manage ingredients and kitchen supplies.
- Minimise food waste and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Ensure meals are prepared and served within the required time.
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience preparing both local and continental dishes.
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Reliable, organised and able to manage time effectively.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Applicants living in or around Oyarifa and nearby areas will have an advantage.
