Our client is a leading agri-tech company under dedicated to the seed industry and biotechnology. The company currently has extensive operations in many countries and has launched in Ghana.
What You Will Do
- Comprehend market strategies that will guarantee the company brand the highest safety market exposure for sales.
- Update registration information from clients and distribution partners through sales management software.
- Marketing activity development: Design, coordinate, get approvals and plan execution.
- Responsible for managing sales input plan, deliveries, import orders, stock supervision, and maintaining the seeds value chain fluent.
- Build strong and valuable relationships with distribution channels, end users and potential co-clients as ethanol producers, maize flour companies, and soybean oil and beverage industries.
- Provide training according to the channel demand, management skills, technical details of LPAS products, and mix between distribution channel portfolios to establish potential strengths.
- Comprehend and update the genetic registration data for hybrids and varieties, guaranteeing quality, and quantity according to the authority’s requirements.
- Plan and execute the trials (advancement and technical management), assuring the technical evaluations at the right time, and create a strong database for R&D alignment.
- Responsible for field experimentation: Perform manual planting and harvesting and carry out evaluations during the crop cycle according to LPAS standards.
- Responsible for facilitating and managing the documents and follow-up for the export operations considering all the inputs the company will require.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences
- Deep understanding and experience with cereals and Leguminosae such as maize, sorghum, rice, and soybean, agricultural market sales experience (2-3 years),
- Good presentation skills and deep local and neighbourhood country’s market understanding.
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or related
- Office Package Intermediate-level
- Driving license
- Technical and Sales experience and background.
