OVERVIEW<\/h4>\n

Our client is a Swedish conglomerate whose offerings include products and services related to locks, doors, gates, and entrance automation. Related products and services include controlling access and confirming identities with keys, cards, tags, mobile, and bio-metric identity verification systems<\/p>\n

The role requires that you ensure that specification targets are met by consistently performing all aspects of the following key performance areas:<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\n

WHAT YOU WILL DO<\/h4>\n
    \n
  1. Calling on existing customers<\/li>\n
  2. Calling on new customers<\/li>\n
  3. Asking for briefs<\/li>\n
  4. Preparing specifications<\/li>\n
  5. Capturing specifications and preparing world class specification presentations<\/li>\n
  6. Participating in internal and external training presentations on ASSA ABLOY products<\/li>\n
  7. Adhere to ASSA ABLOY\u2019s code of conduct<\/li>\n
  8. Regularly call on all assigned architects and quantity surveyors with a view to developing relationships with them, ensuring their support of ASSA ABLOY products<\/li>\n
  9. Canvas the industry for new architects and quantity surveyors<\/li>\n
  10. Prepare Ironmongery specifications, including schedules and bills of quantity<\/li>\n
  11. Set up and assist with CPD training sessions in your region<\/li>\n
  12. Set up and assist with product training sessions at architectural practices, QS practices and building contractors<\/li>\n
  13. Perform site visits after the specified ironmongery has been installed, to:\n
      \n
    • Check for correct product installation<\/li>\n
    • Solve any site issues pertaining to the supplied ASSA ABLOY door hardware and ensure the specification has been adhered to<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Prepares monthly KPA reports<\/li>\n
    • Prepares monthly specification reports.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCES<\/h4>\n
        \n
      • Tertiary educated in Sales & Marketing and or related architectural courses<\/li>\n
      • Computer literate (Excel, Power Point, Word)<\/li>\n
      • Must have experience in the construction industry<\/li>\n
      • Must have a background in Project Management<\/li>\n
      • Sales experience in the architectural and or construction market<\/strong><\/li>\n
      • Technical experience will be an advantage<\/li>\n
      • Understands and interpret Architectural drawings<\/li>\n
      • Be able to interact and communicate with Architects, QSs and Building contractors on a high technical level<\/li>\n
      • Compilation of specifications, including all required Bills and related documentation<\/li>\n
      • Knowledge of ASSA ABLOY product, i.r.o both the range and technicality, as well as knowledge of related ironmongery products as supplied by outside companies on our specifications<\/li>\n
      • Knowledge of competitor product offerings<\/li>\n
      • Self-starter and self-motivated with good interpersonal skills<\/li>\n
      • Willing to both teach and be taught in the department<\/li>\n
      • A team player with passion for achievement of set targets<\/li>\n
      • Quality conscious in all aspects of performance<\/li>\n
      • Able to use own initiative in problem solving<\/li>\n
      • Ensures meeting of specification deadlines without sacrificing accuracy<\/li>\n
      • Exceptional time management skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
