Senior Warehouse Supervisor Needed in Kumasi

OVERVIEW

A multinational FMCG company is seeking to employ a Warehouse Coordinator to work with.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

1. Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials meets customers timescales/requirement.
2. Supervise and control order picking, goods in, goods out operations to ensure accuracy with minimum handling and stock damage
3. Organise, facilitate and manage stock takes at regular intervals
4. Ensure that all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to in line with the Company’s procedures and requirements
5. Deliver the product to the customer on time, every time using appropriate methods
6. Ensure that internal delivery processes are adhered to support dispatch time windows
7. Lead follow up and resolve Customer concerns
8. Identify errors and eliminate root cause using robust countermeasures
9. Sustain the corrective actions to eliminate repeat issues
10. In conjunction with the Warehouse Manager, implement warehouse and management systems and working practices in line with best practice and continuous improvement
11. Ensure security of Warehouse environment and maintain access control, ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
12. Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring the physical stock is in line with the warehouse management system and ensure all stock movements are recorded to ensure accuracy
13. Record and communicate all shortage issues to the Warehouse Manager
14. Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies as and when required in a timely way
15. Route, schedule, pack and prepare orders for delivery; load vehicles; schedule and oversee deliveries and pick-ups
16. Prepare and maintain a variety of records and logs and prepare reports as required; maintain inventory of items in the warehouse; file records as required; supervise the assembly of inventory printouts and catalogs as required.
17. Any other job that will be assigned from time to time

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCES

• A minimum of HND certification from a recognized University
• A minimum of 3 years relevant working experience in same or related field (warehousing) 
• Effective communication skills
• Must be conversant with Microsoft suite
• Ability to lead and be led
