OVERVIEW
Your job will be to utilize inbound and outbound calls and messaging platforms to effectively engage customers to purchase the company’s products and services while meeting sales targets.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Assist customers with placing orders, processing payments and managing
transactions. - Up Sell and Cross-sell products and services by identifying opportunities to recommend additional products or services that align with customers needs and preferences.
- Effectively engage with customers with accurate information for all companies under the Farming In Africa.
- Ensure an accurate order processing, and provide information about product availability
- Listen empathetically to customer complaints and concerns, to find a fair and a satisfactory solution.
- Maintain a calm demeanor and a professional tone while handling difficult clients.
- Document customer interactions and issues, in the company’s customer relationship management (CRM) system
- Stay informed about all subsidiaries company’s products or services, including features, benefits, pricing, and updates
- Answer phone calls in a professional manner.
- Persuasively engage to convert leads to hit sales targets.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCES
- A minimum of Diploma in Marketing, Business, Agriculture or a related field
- Ability to use computer applications and CRM tool
- Ability to negotiate, convince and meet targets every month.
- Willingness to work during odd hours on a shift system
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A good command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
- An appreciable working experience in a similar role
- Ability to work under pressure with or without supervision
- Must be available to start work immediately
- A great passion for Agriculture
