Overview
Our client is a reputable trading company specialising in the sales of building materials, electric vehicles and solar & energy storage solutions. The company is urgently seeking a Business Development Manager (Solar & Energy) to join their Ghana team.
Location: Accra, Ghana (Regional coverage required)
Job Responsibilities
- Develop sales of residential and C&I solar PV and energy storage systems in Ghana and neighboring countries
- Build relationships with factories, mines, commercial clients and distribution partners
- Work with technical teams to deliver customized PV and energy storage solutions
- Manage sales orders throughout the full sales cycle, including quotation, negotiation and order confirmation
- Prepare and manage sales documentation, including sales contracts, technical appendices and proposals
- Coordinate with engineering, installation and O&M teams for project delivery
- Monitor payment milestones and assist customers with payment procedures
- Maintain sales pipelines and prepare regular business reports
Qualifications & Requirements
- Age: 25–40 years old
- Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Marketing, Engineering, Energy, or other science-related disciplines
- 3–5 years of experience in solar PV or energy storage industry
- Solid understanding of PV modules, inverters and battery systems
- Existing customer or channel resources in Ghana or West Africa preferred
- Experience in project-based sales and contract execution
- Valid driving license and able to drive independently
- Strong communication skills and technical understanding
- Fluent in English
