Job Summary:
The company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales & Marketing Manager to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and establishing long-term partnerships with new customers. This role will focus on identifying new markets, expanding the company’s customer base, and managing strategic accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Customer Acquisition:
- Identify and target potential new customers across various sectors.
- Develop and implement strategies to create new business opportunities in line with the company’s growth objectives.
- Manage the entire sales cycle for new customers, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring smooth onboarding of new accounts.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent business development efforts to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Serve as the main point of contact for new key accounts, ensuring that clients receive excellent service and support throughout the relationship.
- Market Research and Business Development
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, industry developments, and potential growth areas.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management on expanding the company’s presence in new sectors and regions.
- Sales Performance and Reporting
- Achieve assigned sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies and tracking performance metrics.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure alignment on customer needs and to meet delivery expectations.
Requirements:
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, key account management, or business development, preferably within the manufacturing or plastics industry.
- Proven track record of success in acquiring new customers and managing strategic accounts.
Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on achieving results. • Familiarity with ERP software and sales reporting tools (CRM or other).
Other Requirements:
- Knowledge of the plastics manufacturing industry is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
