About the Role
A leading industrial processing company is seeking Raw Material Supervisors to manage biomass supply, quality, and preparation for continuous production.
This role is critical to ensuring consistent feedstock availability and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure timely material delivery
- Inspect incoming materials (moisture, size, contamination, quality)
- Oversee material preparation (chipping, drying, grinding, screening)
- Monitor inventory levels and prevent stock shortages
- Supervise material handling teams and equipment operators
- Coordinate with production team to align supply with demand
- Track material data using ERP systems
- Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities
- Ensure safe handling and storage of materials
Requirements
- Diploma, HND or degree in agriculture, supply chain, or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in industrial/raw material handling environment
- Strong understanding of biomass or similar materials
- Experience with testing equipment (moisture meters, etc.)
- Proficiency in Excel (ERP experience is an advantage)
- Strong supervisory and coordination skills
