A recognized courier service company like Glovo is seeking to employ an Operations & Marketing Manager to work with.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for overseeing every aspect of the entire delivery process and its activities thereof.
- Responsible for coordinating delivery team members, routes, and budgets to facilitate quick and efficient delivery of products, materials, and goods.
- Responsible for coordinating courier and logistics for clients.
- Deal directly with clients, carriers/delivery officers and different departments within the company.
- Responsible for all departments
- Market company’s products and sign-on new clients for the Business.
- Upon request, will perform all other tasks related to this position.
- KEY RESULT AREAS• Revenue Growth: Monitoring sales performance on daily basis, breaking it down into daily targets and working with team members to ensure monthly sales targets are met. (NB: Monthly sales target from delivery business – to be revised from time to time)• Client Growth: Increase the on-boarding on New Clients – minimum of 5 major vendors each month – through marketing activities, sale pitches, value proposals and frequent follow-ups.• Reduced Operational Expenses
• Fuel Expense Ceiling shall be 20% of monthly Sales
• Vehicle Maintenance Ceiling shall be 5% of monthly Sales
Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences
- Diploma or Vocational Studies (DEP) in related field or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Self-motivated, works independently and possesses strong organization and time management skills
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position; as a dispatch rider operations and/or marketing manager in a delivery or taxi hailing company/ managing freight/cargo/courier/ logistics software &/or car services.
