About the Role
A leading industrial processing company is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at a high-temperature industrial plant.
This role is critical to ensuring maximum equipment uptime, operational efficiency, and safe plant performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Enforce strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards
- Manage CMMS system (work orders, scheduling, spare parts tracking)
- Oversee spare parts inventory and maintenance budget
- Maintain technical documentation and maintenance records
- Supervise and develop maintenance staff
- Drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability and efficiency
- Coordinate plant shutdown maintenance activities
Requirements
- Minimum of HND or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- NVTI Grade 1 plus 7 years’ experience in industrial maintenance leadership will also be considered
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Experience with high-temperature equipment (kilns, reactors, dryers preferred)
- Familiarity with PLC-controlled systems
- Experience using CMMS systems
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Work Conditions
- Day shift with on-call responsibility for breakdowns
