Job Brief
A new and growing biochar factory is seeking hardworking and dependable General
Workers to provide manual and operational support across its production facility in Drobonso.
Key Responsibilities
- Support cleaning and general housekeeping throughout the factory and yard.
- Clear wood chips, dust and other material spillages from production areas.
- Assist with bagging, handling, moving and stacking finished products.
- Support loading and offloading of materials where required.
- Sort wood materials and remove stones, metals, plastics and other unwanted materials.
- Assist maintenance personnel with basic tasks under supervision.
- Move tools, spare parts and materials around the facility.
- Assist with grass cutting, drain clearing and general upkeep of the factory grounds.
- Follow all safety instructions and use the required PPE.
- Report unsafe conditions, equipment damage, leaks and spillages promptly.
Requirements
- No formal academic qualification required.
- Previous experience in factory work, construction, farming, sawmill operations or general labour is an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual work throughout a shift.
- Able to understand instructions in English or Twi.
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
