WHAT YOU WILL DO

1. Set strategic direction and goals for the company
2. Develop and implement business plans, budgeting and maximize the profitability of the business
3. Ensure the quality and delivery of our products and services
4. Manage the financial performance and growth of the company
5. Oversee performance evaluations, employee and talent development, ensuring a supportive and inclusive working environment
6. Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
7. Streamline our business processes and workflows to improve operational efficiency and productivity
8. Ensure consistent compliance with local and international regulations and standards
9. Establish KPI’s to measure the company’s performance across various departments, regularly monitor progress, and provide detailed reports to the executive team and directors.
10. Provide leadership and direction to all departments within the company, foster a positive and productive work culture, and promote teamwork and collaboration.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCES

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a recognized IT field, Business Management, Business Administration
• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or management role in the IT and or media
• A proven track record of delivering results and achieving targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• An understanding of the IT and or media market and trends
• A creative and innovative mindset with a problem-solving attitude
• Integrity, honesty and commitment to upholding ethical standards
• Should be able to interpret financial statements, analyze financial data, develop budgets and financial plans

• Salary range: GHS 3000- 4000

• Create events (online and in-person)

• Create content for the community
• Create content for online social media platforms
• Engage and provide support

Events Manager

• Find and book speakers (high profile thought leaders from Africa and the Diaspora)
• Organise and promote events (online and in-person)
• Manage and oversee events, suppliers and attendees
• Post event follow-ups
• developing good working relationships with the media
• public speaking at presentations, conferences, or radio and TV interviews

Partnerships and Collaborations

• Manage community information decks and materials
• Manage sponsorship packages
• Identify potential partners
• Ensure deliverables’ are met
• Manage relationships with potential partners

Team Management

• Recruit and manage junior team members

Requirements:

• Great interpersonal skills and great on-screen and audio presence.
• Experience moderating events on radio social platforms such as Clubhouse, Twitter spaces, Facebook Rooms and Spotify Greenroom
• Fluent in speaking English
