Job Summary
A reputable factory in the Ashanti Region is looking for skilled Wood Chipper Operators to operate wood chipping machines used in raw material processing. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operation of the chipper system while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor wood chipping machines during production
- Feed wood materials into the chipper system safely and efficiently
- Ensure uniform wood chip output for processing operations
- Inspect machines regularly and report mechanical faults immediately
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment
- Monitor material flow to prevent machine blockage or downtime
- Observe all factory safety procedures and operational standards
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams
Requirements
- Previous experience operating industrial or wood processing machinery
- Ability to work in a fast-paced factory environment
- Good understanding of machine safety procedures
- Physically fit and able to handle demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and operational efficiency
- Technical or vocational training is an advantage
