Role Overview
JobHouse Recruitment Agency is seeking a highly professional and detail-oriented Field Case Officer to conduct an independent assessment and provide ongoing oversight for the care and living arrangements of an elderly client in Accra.
This role requires a mature, discreet, and analytical individual who can operate independently on a confidential, high-trust assignment involving an international stakeholder.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that care delivery, staffing structure, and associated costs are appropriate, efficient, and aligned with local standards.
Key Responsibilities
Phase 1: Independent Assessment (One-Time Engagement)
- Conduct an on-site evaluation of the client’s living conditions and care environment
- Observe and assess the performance and roles of caregivers and house staff
- Review daily routines, responsibilities, and level of care provided
- Identify inefficiencies, role duplication, or gaps in care delivery
- Gather relevant operational and staffing information
- Provide structured input for a formal assessment report
Phase 2: Ongoing Case Management (Twice Monthly Visits)
- Conduct scheduled on-site visits (minimum twice per month)
- Monitor caregiver performance, attendance, and professionalism
- Ensure adherence to recommended care structure and standards
- Observe and report any concerns relating to care quality, safety, or conduct
- Track any notable changes in the client’s condition or environment
- Submit clear and concise visit reports after each inspection
- Escalate urgent issues promptly to JobHouse management
Requirements
- Background in Healthcare, Nursing, Social Work, or related field (strongly preferred)
- Minimum 3–5 years relevant experience in:
- Elder care / home care
- Healthcare supervision
- Social services or case management
- Strong observation, reporting, and analytical skills
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable interacting with caregivers, domestic staff, and other stakeholders
- Must be based in Accra

Compensation
- Phase 1 (Assessment): GHC 4,000-6,000 (once-off payment)
- Phase 2 (Ongoing Case Management): GHC 1,600-2,500 per month
