About the Role
A leading industrial processing company is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance team in keeping plant equipment running safely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on role ideal for technically inclined individuals looking to grow in industrial maintenance.
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with routine maintenance and servicing of plant equipment
- Support troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical faults
- Help with equipment inspections and basic repairs
- Maintain tools, spare parts, and workshop organization
- Assist in enforcing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Carry out cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance tasks
- Report faults and unusual equipment behaviour promptly
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
Requirements
- Technical training or vocational qualification (mechanical/electrical preferred)
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in an industrial or workshop environment
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems (electrical knowledge is a plus)
- Willingness to learn and grow in maintenance
- Physically fit and able to work in industrial conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
