A well-established real estate company in Accra is urgently seeking a Finance Manager with strong experience in real estate, construction, or project-based work to join their team.

Job Summary
The Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s financial, administrative, and operational functions are in line with the mission and strategic goals of the company, and advising the Directors on financial and strategic issues.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Manage budgets and oversee cash flow.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial plans are followed.
  • Provide financial advice to senior management to optimize financial performance.
  • Oversee the accounting and finance teams.
  • Ensure efficient financial management, safeguard assets, produce reliable financial records and guarantee compliance with relevant internationally accepted standards, national legislation and regulations.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual closing and preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, financial reporting, tax filings and audit activities, including audit.
  • Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax, treasury, payroll, financial and management accounting functions.
  • Developing long-term business plans based on the financial reports
  • Oversee implementation, maintenance and effective staff use of financial systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA, CMA holders are preferable
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in accounting and Finance
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide teams.
