About the Company and Job Overview
We are a leading, high-growth FinTech firm on a mission to ensure no merchant ever misses a sale. We are looking for high-energy, field-oriented Sales Executives to expand our footprint in the Ashanti and Greater Accra regions. You will be the face of our brand, responsible for identifying, pitching, and onboarding retail businesses to our all-in-one payment and business management ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Merchant Prospecting: Identify and target high-potential retail businesses, pharmacies, restaurants, and wholesalers within your assigned territory.
- Solution Selling: Pitch our suite of products, including POS terminals (NFC/Tap-to-pay), QR code payments, and our “ShopKeeper” inventory management app.
- Merchant Onboarding: Guide new clients through the registration process, ensuring they are fully trained on using our devices to accept mobile money and card payments.
- Relationship Management: Act as a dedicated consultant for your portfolio of merchants, ensuring high terminal usage and resolving any initial technical or service queries.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor local competitor activity and gather feedback from the field to help improve our product offerings.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed weekly and monthly merchant signup and terminal activation targets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of proven field sales experience, ideally within FinTech, FMCG, Banking, or Telecommunications.
- Local Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the business landscape of either the Greater Accra or Ashanti region.
- Tech Savvy: Ability to comfortably demonstrate hardware (POS devices) and software (mobile apps) to non-technical users.
Required Skills
- Persuasive Communication: Ability to build instant rapport and deliver compelling pitches in both English and local languages.
- Resilience: A “never-say-die” attitude with the ability to handle rejection and persist until a deal is closed.
- Organization: Strong territory management skills and the ability to track your pipeline using digital tools or CRM systems.
- Negotiation: Sharp negotiation skills to communicate the value proposition over competitors.
