Q: What is JobHouse?

A: JobHouse is a business process outsourcing (BPO) company. Our services include: Recruitment, HR consultancy, contract staffing, outsourcing, payroll management services, web design & web services, online education, scholarships consultancy among others.

Since its inception in January 2010, JobHouse has provided quality BPO services to many companies in and outside Ghana. We have also over the years assisted hundreds of fresh graduates and job seekers in general to find careers in Ghana through our Job Placement programme (CV database).

Our services are also designed to take the stress out of recruitment and human resource management, providing you with practical solutions that give you value for money.

 

Q: Who is/are behind JobHouse?

A: JobHouse is a registered limited liability company with global ambitions and focus. We have a very well-seasoned management team and advisors. Mr. Richard Dogbe is the founder of JobHouse. We also have very experienced professionals as members of our board.

 

Q: Is JobHouse a recruitment firm?

A: JobHouse Recruitment Agency is the recruitment unit of JobHouse. JobHouse has registered with the Labour Department of Ghana to operate employment services. Therefore, apart from other services, JobHouse is also into employment services.

Q: Do you offer career advice?

Q: Do you offer training?

A: Yes. At JobHouse, we understand the importance of Training. We believe that well trained employees are very crucial to the survival of organizations. We also do appreciate the fact that job seekers are often faced with little or no work experience and/or on-hands training to enable them perform.

Q: Can I advertise with JobHouse?

A1: Yes, you can. As an employer, to advertise your job vacancies on JobHouse for a fee, click on ‘Post a job’ via: http://jobhouse.com.gh/jobs-in-ghana/post-job-online-ghana/ and choose from the options available.

Q: How do I apply for a job?

A: Click on that particular job link and follow. When the job details open, read the full details and all instructions for applying for that particular job. Then click on the “Apply for Job” button to apply.

As a matter of policy, applying for jobs on our website is done only ONLINE. So the only way out is to click on the job you are interested in, click on “Apply for Job” button, and apply.

 

Q: Do I need a PC before I can visit JobHouse?

A: No. You can also access JobHouse on your mobile phone.

 

Q: What happens when I apply online for jobs posted on JobHouse?

A1: In the case of applying for jobs posted by others on our website, your résumé will be sent to the employer who will handle the hiring process. You might not receive immediate response because sometimes it takes weeks or even months to process applications. Be rest assured that the employer will contact you if you are shortlisted for interview.

A2: In the case of applying for positions being recruited by JobHouse: link is http://jobhouse.com.gh/jobs-in-ghana/view-jobs/featured-jobs/, your résumé is sent to us directly. Immediately we receive your application, we respond by acknowledging receipt. However, due to the large number of applicants, not all applicants are invited for interview. Be rest assured that, JobHouse will contact you for interview if you are shortlisted for the position. In case you do not hear from us within two months, it is possible that your application was not accepted.

 

Q: Do I need a Résumé  to apply to a job posting?

A: Yes of course. Your résumé, NOT CV explains your focus, qualifications, strengths, skills set as well as your commitment to starting or changing a career, which will help the employer make recruiting decisions. Check this: differences between CV and Résumé.

 

Q: Can you find me a job?

A: Yes, we have helped and continue to help candidates find their desired jobs. To apply for any of the jobs we have available, kindly visit our website’s “Jobs” page via this link, http://jobhouse.com.gh/jobs-in-ghana/view-jobs/ to apply.

Please note that apart from recruitment and other services, JobHouse also runs a jobs website. This jobs website (www.jobhouse.com.gh/jobs) is used to display jobs from both JobHouse and other companies or organizations. When you apply for jobs on our website, not every job on our website is being handled by JobHouse.

Positions directly being recruited by JobHouse can be found only in the “featured jobs” category, http://jobhouse.com.gh/jobs-in-ghana/view-jobs/featured-jobs/ and have the company name “JobHouse Ghana” at the company name section.

 

Q: Do you have jobs from only JobHouse on your website?

A: No. Our jobs section www.jobhouse.com.gh/jobs is just like any other jobs portal / website. We have jobs from both JobHouse and other organizations.

Jobs from Jobhouse have the company name “JobHouse Ghana” at the company name section. Jobs from other organization have their respective organization/company names in the Company Name field.

 

Q: Do I have to pay for registering as a jobseeker?

A: No, you do not.

 

Q: How long will it take for you to get back to me after I apply for a job?

A1: In the case of applying for jobs posted by others on our website, your résumé will be sent to the employer who will handle the hiring process. You might not receive immediate response because sometimes it takes weeks or even months to process applications. Be rest assured that the employer will contact you if you are shortlisted for interview. If you are not shortlisted, you may not be contacted.

A2: In the case of applying for positions being recruited by JobHouse, your résumé is sent to us directly. Immediately we receive your application, we respond by acknowledging receipt. Q: Do I need to come to your premises to register?

A: NO, you do not. We do not encourage job seekers to come to our office for registration purposes. This is because all registration for job placement is done online.

 

Q: How do I register (for job placement) with JobHouse?

Q: How do I create a profile?

A: Please visit here http://jobhouse.com.gh/jobs-in-ghana/submitcv/ and go through the process. It is a simple process with step-by-step guidelines on what to do for each section.

 

Q: I’m still having difficulty creating a profile, can you help?

A: Yes, we can. Call our office anytime between the hours of 9:00am – 4.30 pm on weekdays and we would be happy to assist you.

 

Q: Do I have to pay for interviews like other agencies? If yes, how much?

A: No, you do not pay for attending interviews at JobHouse.

 

Q: Do I need to bring my CV to your office on the day of the interview?

A: Yes, we advise that you always have at least 2 copies of your CV when you come in for interviews. However, it is not a requirement.

 

Q: Can you help me design my CV?

Q: Where is your office located?

A:  We are located Opposite Okponglo Taxi Rank, Between Legon Traffic Intersection and Okponglo Ecobank. Okponglo – East Legon. Our contact us page has a map with directions to our office.

Q: Are you a recruitment company?

A: Recruitment is one of the main services we offer as Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company. We also do HR consultancy, contract staffing, outsourcing, recruitment, payroll management services, web design & web services, online education, scholarships consultancy among others.

 

Q: Which is the best way to get in touch? Phone, Email or walk-in?

A: You can contact us through any of the modes stated above.  However, to be able to understand your needs better, we prefer you send us your recruitment request via: http://jobhouseghana.com/recruitment/quote/. We will give you a call to acknowledge receipt once we receive your recruitment/outsourcing request. After that, we will schedule a meeting with you in person to discuss the request in detail. We believe this is how we can build a mutually beneficial relationship with our clients.

 

Q: How much do you charge for your services?

A: We do not have fixed charges for all clients, our charge for a specific project is dependent on a number of factors. If we require more information, we will arrange a meeting with you to understand your needs better.

Q: How can you help me?

A: We have a number of services tailored for businesses, especially, SMEs. This includes access to our over 20, 000 email list, access to our CV database, brand promotion/advert on our website and Facebook page, very qualified students interns to help your business grow etc.

Q: How much do you charge for such services for SMEs?

A: Send us an email at info@jobhouse.com.gh with a specific request and we will reply with the charges for that particular service. We will call to acknowledge receipt once we receive your request and proceed to schedule a meeting with you if the need be in order to understand your needs better.
